1. Forum manners.

(a) In General. All members are expected to treat all other members with respect. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and we encourage all opinions to be expressed here. However, personal attacks are not appropriate and will not be allowed. Similarly, use of foul language and cursing at another community member is inappropriate.

(b) Moderators/Site Administrators. Moderators are all volunteers and continue to be regular members of the site. Moderators are not entitled to more respect because of their status, but should not be treated with less respect, either. Moderators are encouraged to participate in regular discussions, and should be shown the same level of respect as any other forum member.

(c) Consequences for Inappropriate Behavior. Any member who cannot extend basic common courtesy to other community members will find their account suspended for at least one week. Subsequent incidents may result in a permanent ban.

(d) Honor Code. The site is not moderated on a full-time basis as our moderators cannot possibly be online every minute of the day. Site members are expected to be on good behavior regardless of the presence of a moderator online. Community members are also encouraged to remind others of the forum rules as appropriate, and to report inappropriate behavior to a moderator or site administrator if need be.

2. Forum Organization.

The leishahailey.com message boards are organized into several sections. Please review the descriptions of each section. Moderators will do their best to keep discussion in the appropriate place, but we do ask that people try to post in the right places to begin with.

(a) No Duplicate Threads. In order to make it easy for everyone to find what they're looking for, we do not allow duplicate threads. Before members create new threads, they should review the forum descriptions, then search for a thread where their post will fit. A new thread should only be created if the post will not fit into any existing thread.

(c) Thread Sizes. In order to keep threads manageable and orderly, and to minimize the burden on the site's servers, all threads (outside The Playground - games forum) will be closed at 1,000 posts, and a continuation thread created. When an existing thread reaches 1,000 posts, community members should create a new thread, and post a link to the old thread in the first post of the new thread. A link to the new thread should be posted at the end of the old thread. A moderator will then lock the old thread.

3. Content of Posts.

(a) Age-Appropriate. This site does have community members under the age of 18. Accordingly, posts should not contain sexually-explicit language or images. The only exception is the Provocations forum, where adult topics may be discussed (but NO PORN is allowed).

(b) Links Out to Other Sites.

(1) Links in Posts: Links to other message boards, or to other fan sites and personal sites are not allowed in posts except in the "Links Out" forum. Links to illegal downloads are not allowed anywhere on the site. Other links are generally permitted, including links to any other thread or content with leishahailey.com, or to items that are newsworthy. It is appropriate to post a link to a news article of interest on another site (e.g., a press release or promo at the Showtime site). However, links are permitted at the sole discretion of the site administrators/moderators, and may be removed at any time, for any reason.

(2) Links in Signatures: No url's are permitted in signatures, except URL's within leishahailey.com or other sites within the myFandoms.com network of fan sites.

(c) No Piracy. Selling or trading of copyrighted materials is piracy, and is not allowed. Any member found to be engaging in piracy on this site may be suspended and/or banned.

(d) Expression of Opinions. This site is privately owned and operated, and therefore not subject to First Amendment Free Speech rights. If you choose to participate in this community, you do so on the terms set forth above. The site welcomes all non-discriminatory opinions, including constructive criticism of the site. While this means that feedback is welcome, it does not mean that it is appropriate to harass or abuse moderators or site administrators, or make overtly hostile posts. See Section 1(a) above. It is not usually what is said that causes problems, it is the way it is said that matters.

(e) Deletion of Posts. As a general policy, this site does not delete posts or threads except for the following reasons: (1) they duplicate an existing topic; (2) they are discriminatory, derogatory, harassing, abusive, hurtful, or otherwise inappropriate based on the guidelines above, and could subject the poster and/or the site to legal action; (3) the poster has requested deletion of the post; or (4) the post or thread is a "spam" post, generally promoting online porn, online illegal medications, or other inappropriate solicitation.

4. Private Messages and Email Addresses.

(a) Permissible Uses. The site's private message service is provided to encourage communication amongst community members. Members may list their personal email addresses for the same reason. However, neither the private message system nor the email addresses provided by members may be used for any illegal purpose (including promotion of piracy of copyrighted material or solicitation of minors!). In addition, the private message system and member email addresses may not be used to recruit community members to other sites. Users found to be using private messages and/or email addresses posted by members of the site for an impermissible purpose will be suspended and/or banned from the site.

(b) Privacy of Private Messages. As a general rule, private messages are private, and they are not read by the site administrator. However, if we receive a report that the private message system is being used for a purpose that is prohibited by Section 4(a), we will investigate by reviewing the private message(s) in question.

5. Acceptance of Forum Rules.

In posting at this site, you acknowledge your acceptance of these guidelines and rules. Violation of any of these guidelines may result in suspension or termination of a user's account in the sole discretion of the site administrators, with or without notice. Participation in this site is completely voluntary, and anyone unwilling to accept these forum rules should not participate in the forums.

Thank you to everyone in advance for their cooperation. We hope you have a safe and enjoyable experience at http://www.leishahailey.com. Any comments, concerns, constructive criticism or other appropriate feedback is always welcomed.
