News about the L7 convention:

A major change for STARFURY: L7, so all those who have bought tickets or are intending to go, please read this carefully!

The Birmingham Hilton Metropole Hotel was approached by a major business client wanting to run a conference over the same weekend as STARFURY: L7. Money talks, and The Hilton has requested that we move dates.

The event will now be taking place on June 25-27 2010.

So make sure to update you diaries and calendars with these new dates!

I have spent this evening checking with the guests that these dates still work with them, and they are all still onboard for the convention (subject of course to their acting work commitments).

For many attendees, these dates will work out even better, as it gives them longer to save up for the event. However, I also appreciate that these dates may not work for all attendees. So if you have bought tickets, but cannot make these new dates, please contact me between September 9 to 30. I’m away from tomorrow until September 9th, so will be e-mailing all current ticket holders upon my return.

While having to change dates after the event was announced is a bit of a pain, I think that these new dates will actually benefit the event, and help me put on an even better convention for fans of THE L WORD.
